Cubbies...

...Bless Haley's heart she has been looking forward to today since last March! Before she had her hip surgery she loved going to AWANA on Sunday nights. She gets to go to Cubbies and say her bible verse that she has worked on memorizing all week and see cubby bear and have a snack and go to choir (which is her favorite part!)...Well because of the chaos of last spring she didn't get to go back after her surgery so she was so excited to start back tonight! Mrs Laynie is going to let her make up the verses she missed to get her patches like her friends and she is so excited! She wore her cubbie vest all afternoon and couldn't wait to go flying down the hall to her class when we got to church! It was so sweet! This time last year her and all her little friends were the new ones in the class so they were clinging to mommies and looking so scared sitting at that big table but this year they didn't hardly have time to say good bye! And so it begins, she is growing up...she wanted me to leave and wanted to go in on her own...I don't think i could have handled tonight 6 months ago but after this spring it was such a blessing to see her acting her age!

We had a special moment Friday afternoon...Haley Grace got tickled at Brock for something silly he was doing (they love to make each other laugh!) and i got tickled at her getting so tickled and then we got to that point of silly where you can't look at each other without laughing...you know like that snicker in church when you are trying to be quiet but every time you try to stop you laugh harder and louder!...It was so special to me because in that moment i thought i am having a "girlfriend moment" with my daughter! I have wanted her for as long as i can remember and every mom dreams about long talks, giggles, and secrets with their little girl but i really think this was our first "girlfriend moment" and it was so simple yet so special to me! I just thank God for blessing me with such a special Angel and i know this is the first of millions of special girl times!

Please pray for Brock, he was fine this morning but woke up from his nap with a 102.9 fever! He slept on us on and off all afternoon and it went down some with motrin but around 6 it got up to 103.9 so after that dose of motrin he did liven up some, it is staying around 102 in between doses...he hasn't been sick and he is drinking plenty of fluids so maybe its just a fever virus! I hope it goes away during the night! Well, have a great week!
