We are all finally back home and together again! Lance had a great time in South Dakota and the kids and I had a blast at my parents. Sunday night i got to go out with Brad and Matthew and that was lots of fun. Lance goes on this hunting trip every year the beginning of November and so we stay in Birmingham...The boys and I have made it a tradition to go out one of the nights while i am up there and hang out...This year we had dinner at Kobi and dessert at dippin dots and Cheesecake factory (o to have the metabolism of a teenager again!!) DJ had to go back to school to study for a big test so he was unable to join us this year, He was missed! We had so much fun!
Monday before heading back home we went to see Santa at the Galleria and we rode the carousel (both of my children LOVE the carousel!!). Of course Brock thinks the reindeer on there are cows so that makes it even more fun for him....long story! As we approached Santa Haley Grace was so excited she couldn't be still but Brock was very uneasy about that scary man touching him!! She jumped right up in his lap with a huge grin on her face and couldn't speak for the longest because she was just so excited to be sitting there!! (To say she loves Santa is a HUGE understatement...she was potty trained by sitting a picture of her in his lap out in the den and telling her he was watching and wanted her to go!!...The child LOVES anything and everything to do with Santa!!) And yes, in case you are wondering that is the grinch she is holding!! She said he wanted to see Santa too and she loves him so much at this age that i thought it would just be a good memory! Now Brock on the other hand had a death grip on my arms as I set him down...as you will see in the picture his opinion was just like that of most children....don't you dare sit me in that things lap!!...After he got back in the stroller he was fine with him he gave santa five and even kind of grinned at him as we were leaving! We knew it was asking too much to have two children love the big man! Haley told Santa she wanted the puppy and after getting an approving nod from me he agreed to bring it! She was sooo excited when we left there, its official now Christmas is here!
