Afternoons outside

Haley has NEVER been an outside child...the sun always hurt her eyes and she just didn't like anything about it that meant using energy! She has loved to swing every since she got her shunt at 14 months old but that uses no energy on her part so it perfectly fit her idea of an afternoon outside!! Well, my how things have changed with a little brother who would love to live outside and never come in...he wants to run and climb and play in the dirt and catch white headed bumble bees....and a dog to play with who after Christmas day hasn't been allowed back in the house...her whole attitude has changed!! She no longer seems to even notice the sun unless its really bright and gets up from her nap every day begging to put on her shoes and go out immediately to see Lady!! She now walks all over our yard (which is a very big deal because its kind of steep in places) and loves to pick flowers and find lizards and although she still likes to swing its now more of a stop on the afternoon lap around the yard instead of the final destination!! The pictures are of Brock playing in the dirt and Haley enjoying a break in the front yard!!
