The third one is gonna be a handful...

I went for my regular doctor's visit this morning and I will be 13 weeks tomorrow so at this visit they use the doppler for the first time to hear the heartbeat. With the other two it took a few seconds (which seemed like an eternity but they got them) at about 11 weeks so I thought today would be a piece of cake!!! Well, the first girl couldn't get a heartbeat but was very sweet and got someone else to come try and the second girl was very matter of fact about not hearing one and that ultrasound would be around to get me in a minute....Brock was with me trying to stay in his chair but getting impatient by now so i called Lance in tears and waited on ultrasound....She took me back and this baby is very high for only 13 weeks and very active so the reason they couldn't get it was they weren't high enough and it was moving constantly!! It was all stretched out and pulling its tiny legs in to its chest and then all the way straight again, then it rolled its back to us like quit looking at me and didnt' want to cooperate at all for her to get a read on the heartbeat! But its 164 (it was 182 at the first visit) so I am still thinking its a girl! And everything looked great! Poor Lance got there after it was all fine yet he had no clue of that because he was in route so, we gave him a heart attack today!! This one is gonna keep us on our toes! Next ultrasound in 6 weeks!
