Summer is almost over...

Well, reality set in last week after shopping ALL morning with Haley for a backpack and school shoes, our summer is coming to an end!! I am so upset in many ways but excited for her in others. She is so excited about going to school and with her Barbie backpack and Dora shoes she is gonna be just adorable!! She is not my opinionated child usually so it caught me very off guard when we had to go to EIGHT stores to decide on a backpack and FOUR seperate ones to find the right shoes!! Brock is loving this because he gets grandfathered in on the new stuff since he's the little brother! He very quickly decided on spiderman shoes and a spiderman backpack at the very first store and he needed notebooks and crayons just like Haley. He has his backpack packed and sitting right next to hers on their bedroom floor...Thursday morning may get interesting at our house!

They both promoted in Sunday school this morning and that went really well, no tears at all out of Haley and once Brock saw his friends had all moved to the new room too he was fine!

Ty is moving most all the time now and the kids love running up and feeling him kick their hands, its really sweet!!

We got their art work finished for the bathroom and bedroom and Lance got it all hung for me tonight, it looks so good! Just a few more pictures need to go up and we will be finished with the bedroom switcheroo! They are still doing great in the same room! They forget we can see them on the video monitor and do get up some to grab mostly books from the floor! As long as it doesn't go on long I ignore it and what makes it so sweet is they know they are supposed to stay in their beds so when they get done with their new treasure you usually find them under their covers with them once they fall asleep! I have started making a sweep through at night before I lay down to remove any hardbacks or hard toys and they have yet to catch me or mention it.

We are planning on making the most of our last week of freedom! I will let you know how it goes!
