Tubes, dancing, and Scarecrows...

Ty got tubes put in his ears yesterday and they are wonderful! It is amazing to me how something that takes a doctor less than three minutes to do can make a little boy's life so much better! He was already crawling all over (army crawling) the den and smiling all day it was just at night that you knew something was bothering him...well, now that he has balance he is everywhere!!! He is like, I know what is in the den let me check out the rest of the house! He is already talking more and we feel MUCH better about his hearing! And he slept great last night! I feel human today! Can you tell we are big fans of tubes at our house?!...

Oh and he weighs 25 lbs even. He is gonna catch Brock before his first birthday if this keeps up!

Haley's school teacher got married last Saturday and I didn't realize until we were at the wedding that that was the first time Haley can remember going to a wedding.. my favorite quotes of the day were...

Mommy, where is she going to dance?...
Do you mean "Dress" she is going to get dressed at the church...
No, I mean Dance (long Pause)...I guess she could tell I was confused so she explained more...Mommy you know after you get married you dance with your daddy where is she going to dance with her daddy?
OH!!! Haley we are baptist and her reception is at the church we don't do that...(at this point she looked completely confused and disgusted)...She then said with her hands on her hips, well after I get married I am dancing with my daddy!! (I guess watching father of the bride is starting to sink in!)

After the wedding everyone blew bubbles as they left on the back of a decorated golf cart....Haley especially enjoyed this part since she loves bubbles....After we got in the car she said Mommy when i leave my wedding will people blow bubbles at me?
If you want them to...
well will you be there (this proceeded into a roll call of family and would they be attending)...
then as if she was tired of talking about it she said,
well, when Me and Andrew leave my wedding, I will have already danced with my daddy and I don't want bubbles on my dress!
There were so many shocking points to that sentence that we just left the conversation there!

The weather has been so beautiful lately and we have really enjoyed spending time out on the screened in porch...well, last night Brock and I were sitting out on the swing talking and I asked him what he wants to be when he grows up...He thought for the longest time then looked right into my eyes and said, "a scarecrow"....I was a little confused so I asked him if he knew what a scrarecrow did he said "well yeah, they stand out in the grass and scare birds off and I like to watch them fly off so that is what i am gonna do!"... How do you argue with that?!...
