Our elves have arrived!!

This year we have two elves...Tinkerbell (a toy elf-gets to come stay with us when she got finished making toys for Santa and she gets into stuff some but mostly leaves out activities to do with the kids) and an elf magic elf named Mickey Mouse (wood elf- watches them during the day and flies back to the North Pole at night to report to Santa about their behavior then hides somewhere new every morning)... The kids wrote letters to Santa Monday afternoon and when they got in the car to go to school Tuesday morning Tinkerbell was sitting in Brock's car seat...there is always a story with Brock...he was already in a mood that morning so he jumped in the car saw the elf, threw it in the floor and stepped on it while crawling into his seat...Haley was getting in through the other door and started having a fit immediately..."BROCK THAT IS OUR ELF, WE WROTE SANTA, HE SENT US AN ELF!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU STEPPED ON IT HERE HAND IT TO ME SO I CAN SEE ABOUT IT!" He proceeds to look at her in complete disbelief and disgust and proclaims..."MOM TELL HER THAT IS NOT OUR ELF, ELVES ARE REAL AND THAT IS JUST A NIGHT, NIGHT TOY!!" (what to do, what to do) so i just kind of waited and Haley took over, "IT IS A REAL ELF IT COMES TO LIFE AT NIGHT, AND ITS GONNA TELL SANTA YOU STEPPED ON ITS FACE!!!" It took everything in me not to bust out laughing!! Brock is coming around to the idea now but it took him a while...you wouldn't expect that from the three year old! Haley is sold on it hook, line, and sinker! The elf magic elf was inside the fireplace screen when they got home from school that afternoon and i have to say poor Brock is so disgusted that there isn't a pointy eared, two foot high elf running around our house! Tinkerbell left them a gingerbread house to do with her after school today so the pictures are from them doing that and mickey mouse has been watching them from the sconce in the den all day! Ty loves to catch the big kids not paying attention and try to chew on one of the elves...they go nuts! Haley is convinced as soon as Santa finds out how many times the elves get mauled by Ty everyday Ty will surely be getting coal for Christmas!!
