Pictures at the stadium...
I took the boys out to the stadium yesterday in their Alabama gear to get a few pictures... The thought process was that if I took them during the week, sure their would be students walking around but not a gazillion fans and I could just kind of let them walk around and take some natural pictures....well, what I was not banking on is that unless you are lucky enough to find a parking spot on the street close enough to have two preschoolers walk in their cowboy boots (that they insisted on wearing) then you are going to have to carry them, and the camera bag, and listen to them whine, while you are trying to not drop anything!! So, I pulled up next to one of the very nice security guards at the stadium and asked where would be the best place for me to park in just this situation and he quickly informed me that 5 cars had already been towed from the closest parking lot just that morning. He then asked me how long it would take me and I promised him 15 minutes max probably less than that and the wonderful young man let me park right behind his chair at the entrance to the president's box and assured me he wouldn't let my car get towed as long as I was back in 15 minutes!! So I grabbed the boys and the camera and took off! Because of the whole time situation I had them climb up on the steps for a few and then started towards the statues...Brock was wanting the 411 on each one...who is that? what is his name? Is he a nice man? yada yada...so I just kept hurrying him along to the second statue carefully not mentioning "the Bear" so that I didn't have to go into any explanation while trying to get in and out of the area... I got some pictures there and then we ran back to the car 9 whole minutes later we were driving away.... When I got home I was looking through the pictures to see what I got and Brock's expressions/actions in the next three just made me laugh:
"Man, he's tall"

"Look at the size of his feet!"

What was funny was as we were leaving the guy cuttin the grass in the middle of this area was just like throwing his head back belly laughing at my boys and I couldn't really figure out what they had done that was so funny...well, i guess he saw Brock latch onto Bear Bryant's leg like he was a member of the family!!
