John the Baptist...

Every night before the kids go to bed we read a story and a bible story... Brock's favorite is Samson, "because he picks up those big rocks" but he will mix it up with other selections.  Haley loves to hear about "Moses in the basket" because she likes talking about how his sister was taking care of him, "watching him in the water."  There again she will mix it up and pick a new story most nights.  Ty...he likes John the Baptist because "he eats bugs and honey!"  He knows where to turn in each of three different bible story books to find John and we have read about him every night for several weeks now!!  He got to try honey yesterday and wasn't so impressed and I thought maybe that would be the end of the fascination with John the Baptist...not so, last night we read it again!!  Its funny what they get fixed on!
