Last week was busy but sooo much fun!!
The Blue Angels were here for the air show. They practiced Thursday and Friday and we went to watch them both days. Brock and I could camp out at the airport and watch them for days...Haley could see them from our house, out a window, and be content and Ty liked it the first 15-20 minutes then he started collecting rocks...I had no idea how many rocks he piled into the back of my car, let's just say the child picked up...LOTS OF ROCKS!!!
Okay as if The Blue Angels being here was not enough excitement we also got to see the Budweiser Clydesdale's. They were so pretty and really, really big!! We went to the amphitheater to see them Thursday and saw them in the walmart (I know of all places, walmart) parking lot Friday. In case you have not seen them in person let me just say they are extremely tall like, i had to put the boys on my shoulders for them to pet the horse on the nose tall!! Look in that picture his head is even with the top of the window on that truck!!
We got to see them unload them and brush them and put the ribbons on their tales and stuff. Then they hooked them all up to the cart you see in the commercials and they even put the dalmation up on the cart with the driver.
Ty had an art night at his school. He was so excited!
Here he is with his portrait and flower. Afterwards he got to have a snack with some of his buddies. He did a really good job on his picture!
Baseball pictures went well and I had to get my yearly picture of Brock and Coach Lance.
Sawyer and Dylan were in town all week last week for their spring break and we got to see them for a while Tuesday. The boys will never get tired of throwing rocks in the lake and catching tadpoles! We took a cake and got to celebrate Sawyer's 5th birthday with him after supper.
Dylan killed his first animal right before we left. A little sparrow. He was sooo excited! He walked all over carrying the bird and examining it. When I went to find him before we left he was sitting in the recliner, in the den, with it in his hand still smiling. Brock has used up a ton of bb's since then trying to kill one too!
Sunday afternoon we took Ty to the preschool egg hunt at church. He had so much fun! Mrs Cally always does such a good job and there was a great crowd there! This picture makes me laugh because he was on a mission and grabbing eggs as quick as he could snatch them up.
Haley being the sweet sister helping him count his eggs.
