Spring
Part 2...

Brock's ball team the Brewers came in second place in the league.
Uncle Brad and Uncle Matthew gave him the royal treatment after he got his medal.

Here are some more pictures from tournament.
Uncle Matthew put them into a collage for me.

Brock with his trophy at the team pool party.
We had a great group this year!

Brock with the game ball.  He was soo excited!

Haley had lots of fun at the end of the year Girl Scout Lock in.
Each girl got to invite a friend and she took Margeaux.

They are working hard on their Bucket Seats

Group shots of the 17 girls.

This is what Haley's bucket seat looked like when she got finished.

Mother's day 2012...I am shocked as I look at this picture in July how much the kids have grown up this summer.  It makes me kind of sad how quickly they are growing up.

My sweet Brock turned 7....7....how did he get that old?!  He wanted a new bike.  He and Ty spend lots of time riding bikes together.

Instead of the usual family party Brock wanted to invite some buddies to go see The Avengers.  Here is a picture of his cake.

Here he is with Jackson and Alex at the park in Vestavia.  We went to the movie then picked up pizza
and took it to the park to eat, play and have cake.

Riding that new bike...

We sold the expedition in June...

And replaced it with a minivan.

I LOVE my minivan!!  I never thought I would say those words but I REALLY do!  When we decided it  was time for something new Lance knew I didn't want a van so he researched to see with each dealership what they had that would seat 6 and had a third row.  We went from dealership to dealership one Friday afternoon and drove all the different options.  When I drove this Honda Odyssey I knew....I had been wrong...I REALLY WANTED this van.  I could see Lance in the rear view mirror and he could tell from the look that this was it.  And then was my favorite part...(When you are dating you get to have DTR's...define the relationship...talks but once you are married it isn't so cut and dry.  There are moments in your marriage that you will never forget, your spouse does or says something that completely changes the way you view them...either because you see a new side of them for example they get up with a screaming baby just to let you sleep in or compliment you in front of other people...this was one of those moments) The salesman was trying to get Lance to drive the van and he very quickly informed the man "I don't need to...I won't be driving it that often, Steph will and if she wants it then we need to make a deal, I want her to have what she wants, if it makes her happy, it is great with me."  My heart just melted!  My husband is awesome!!

Ty had his second year of Swimming lessons with Coach Anne this year and even though he could swim before he is all over the pool like a fish now!  I love summer time because we get to spend so much time at the pool and I really love that I have three really good, confident swimmers now!!

Father's Day 2012 all of us with my dad...

And Lance with his dad.

And a group shot with the Uncles

VBS was lots of fun this year!  We switched back to doing it in the daytime and it was a huge success!  I didn't mind it being at night, and didn't think I felt strongly one way or the other, but daytime seemed to be WAY less stressful on the kids and adults.  Everyone had more energy in the mornings and we had a better turn out.

I LOVE our sunday school class so much!  In June we had everyone come out to Lance's parents for the afternoon/evening.  It was perfect because the kids had plenty of room to roam around and we had a kiddie pool and slide for them to play on/in.  We grilled out and rode four wheelers and bikes and ended the evening with a hayride.  It was so much fun!

The beginning of July we went to the beach, the kids LOVED going to get the ice out of the ice maker by the elevator...who knew ice could be so exciting?!

And elevators are quite exciting too!!  There were three and since everything it a competition around here you had to go pick which one you thought would open first...

Lunch at Tacky Jacks was really good!  We have our usual places we go at the beach but this one is now added to our list.  The fish sandwich and home made chips were great.  Being right on the water so the kids could see the boats coming in was a bonus!
