Love you, dot art and new shoes...
Brock learned to say, "lub you" yesterday and it will absolutely melt your heart! That is what being a mommy is all about! He has been trying to say it for a while but its finally clear enough that anyone would understand what he is saying! Haley gets so excited when he says new stuff! She is such a good big sister! During activity time this morning she did dot art and by the time she got through as much paint was on her and Brock as the paper but they had fun! Haley and I tried to teach Brock to color with crayons but he still tries to eat them or bang them on the paper, I think coloring is too boring for him still! He is getting really good at his shape sorter, it has nine shapes and 18 slots and I flip it to the correct side and let him pick between the three possibilities and he is getting really efficient! We clap for him whenever he puts one in and he loves that! Haley has been working really hard on her shapes and colors and spelling her name to you...The shapes and colors she has got but her name we are still struggling with...Any suggestions??? She has gotten so grownie lately, in the car on the way back from school the other day she said, "Mommy turn off the radio so we can talk." (she hears me say this all the time so I guess she thought she would see if it worked for her) She wants to ask where you are going and what you are going to do there, are you going to make me walk or can I ride in the stroller or do they have a buggy (her favorite of the the three!). I noticed while we were waiting on Haley to do therapy yesterday that Brock was limping which made me think his shoes were too small...So we went to get everyone new shoes after she got finished and they were so excited! Brock loves to carry everyone's shoes around the house so he was so excited to be at a place with so many shoes to grab off the shelves! Haley had to make sure hers would, "walk really fast" before we left, it was so sweet! They couldn't wait to show Daddy their new shoes last night!
