Catching up...
We have had a crazy week!! Monday Haley had Physical therapy and the orthotics guy was there so he doctored up the soles in her shoes to help with the discrepancy in the two leg lengths...She did great at therapy and her limp has much improved with the new soles!!! Tuesday the kids spent the day with Granna and Pop and got to see "the new baby cow" as they call it. They LOVE everything about being outside and seeing the animals, my kids think they have to touch everything, bees, butterflies, frogs, lizards, crickets, cows! The picture above is Brock holding a bee...
Yesterday morning Haley woke up sick and lethargic so we thought her shunt was failing! (this is the fun part of having a four year old with a shunt, they don't quite have the vocabulary to explain their feelings in great detail so lots of trips to the hospital for CT scans to check on the shunt) We got home from Children's hospital last night after a full day of tests and they are assuming its just some kind of crazy virus! (they call it a virus if they don't know what it is!) She is okay today, she started out fine and slept a little while around 9 and then she has gone strong every since then...who knows!? I went to her IEP at sprayberry this morning and that went well. She is still delayed, of course, but she is getting there at her own pace! It just reconfirmed that she will be ready to start school fall 2008.
