It's over!!!

Haley had the growth hormone test Tuesday and did great!! Bless her heart she has been through so much that she just kind of takes it as it comes at this point!! She was very upset about them starting the IV but once it was in she did GREAT!! They took blood 7 times in three hours and gave her three different meds to work with the pituatary gland but hopefully we will get answers soon and be on our way to the growth hormones!!

She went to school again yesterday for her first real day and kind of acted out...I think she realizes she is different from the other kids and doesn't know how to handle that....they can write their names and cut and some of them can read and she just doesn't have these skills yet...I talked to her OT about it this morning and we are going to start focusing on all of the things she is "best" at...she is best at sitting on her name and listening during circle time, she is best at following directions, behaving, etc...I think we are also going to have a star system at home for encouragement! Its a big shock going back to school and all that structure but she will get the hang of it! She had tons of fun, at naptime she asked me why she had to come home....she wanted to stay at school! Bless her heart! She still has one more full year of preschool though so hopefully by the time she starts kindergarten in '08 it won't be such a huge adjustment for her!!
