School Update...

Haley had a GREAT day at school today!! She got all three stickers for behaving, listening and being kind. She even wrote a side ways 'W' on her 'W' page so i am so excited i can't stand it!!! It may seem like no big deal if you have a child that is progressing at a typical rate but that 'W' today is the first letter she has ever written unassisted and we have been working on letters off and on for about two years now!! Her Pop made a comment that he thinks the pressure to do what her peers are doing is going to work to her advantage in this setting and I definately agree!! I hope she is feeling more comfortable there now and that it will be smooth sailing from here on out!! Brock is still not so sure about her leaving him...bless his heart when we go get in the car he looks over at her seat and says, "mommy, where Haley??" so pitiful!! I am trying to use her school days to work with him on some stuff and do the things that he enjoys and she doesn't (anything outside he loves, playgrounds, riding toys, playing with the dog,etc...she would really rather not ever go outside if that was possible!!)so we plan to try out all of the playgrounds in town over the next few months.
