Before and After...

We are having MANY before and after moments at our house right now! I always seem to get the "everything needs a place" bug during the third trimester with each pregnancy and Lance is so patient with me through this! Bless his heart me thinking everything needs a place seems to mean many hours of home improvements for him! This time seems to be even worse than with the first two because always before it was just the closets, drawers and nursery this time the nursery is pretty much staying the same so the furniture in most rooms is moving around and the front bathroom is repainted and now tiled, Haley's room has gone from light purple with disney princesses to green and making room for Brock! We have gotten rid of 6 garbage bags full of toys and made several trips to king's ranch and now need to make one to the dump with the left over junk (we have that stupid garbage pick up that if it doesn't fit in the can they won't get it...this is my pet peeve for the week because 95% of the year that works out fine but that other 5% I really need at least two cans, such as now with the overhaul of our house and the week after Christmas when you have two tons of empty boxes and paper!!) The playroom is now very organized and goodness knows our children have more stuffed animals than most toy stores!! I have decided that my love/hate relationship with the stuffed animals is okay for now (I hate them, they are just dust collectors, and Haley LOVES them!! If you were to take that child in toys r us today and tell her she could have anything in the store, she would pick a stuffed animal to sleep with that night!!) I figure way too soon this phase will pass and I will laugh at stuffed animal storage being my biggest worry! Brock is trying really hard at potty training these days so hopefully we will be done with diapers soon! He made up his mind yesterday that he was going to go and hasn't wet his pants since! We will see!!
