Work weekend...

We have worked ourselves to death this weekend but the final product is so worth it! Lance finished up the bathroom today and once I got it all cleaned up I can't believe how wonderful it is!! I am so excited! Now I just have to get the pictures back up on the wall but in new colorful frames and it needs new bathmats and it will be complete! He is finishing up the walls in the big kids room now and I can't wait to see it all put together! They got to pick out their new sheets Thursday for their new beds and that was a MAJOR decision for both of them! Brock picked spiderman and diego and Haley picked princesses and dora. Now the trick will be to get them both used to their new beds and used to being in the same room...I think we are going to do that in two steps since Haley is going from a queen size to a twin and Brock is coming out of his baby bed to a twin...I think we are going to get them used to their beds first and then put them in the same room...I plan on going to go get the beds Monday! The potential problems with them being in the same room is Brock talks during the night in his sleep but goes to sleep as soon as his head hits the pillow and sleeps late...Haley plays in her room for hours some nights before she falls asleep, in the dark she plays and looks at books like she is part bat or something able to see in the dark, and gets up at the crack of dawn...I have got to reprogram her to come out of their as soon as she wakes up so as to not wake him up and keep her bedtime playing limited to on the bed only...and hopefully she will get used to sleeping through his talking! I will let you know how the transition goes!
