The first day of school that was not!!!

Brock had a fever the first of the week that resulted in a visit to the doctor to rule out Strep and 2 to 5 days of a highly infectious viral infection....you know the rest of the story right?? Last night we get all Haley's stuff layed out and she is so excited about starting school today she can't be still we noticed she was a little whiny and...yes, she has the fever and a RASH during the night so no school on the first day for her!! She was so upset. I told Lance I was so excited for her that I was going to do so good walking my baby girl in and walking out without crying...I wasn't ready to answer, "but mommy, does this mean i can't go to my very first day of kindergarten?!" ....ugh! rip my heart out! We saw the doctor and ruled out strep for her too and had bloodwork done at the hospital (her rash is one that is viral 90% of the time but the other 10% this rash can mean some really bad stuff) just to be safe. So this all means that our children will be starting school monday (hopefully, bless their hearts!). Ugh! Never a dull moment at our house!
