The First day of school take two!!

Well, today is the big day and Haley has had a grand total of 4 hours of sleep! She is so excited and just couldn't sleep last night! I just pray that she has a wonderful day and makes lots of new friends and that everything goes smoothly!! I cannot believe my baby is starting kindergarten!!

Have to share a sweet story, last night when we were saying prayers before the big kids went to bed I was asking them what they were thankful for and as they went down the laundry list of things from riding toys to grandparents I told them it was time to thank God for these things...so they each took a turn and when we finished Haley kept her head bowed, opened one eye, looked at me and said, "did he say welcome?" I said, "What, did who say welcome?" She said, "God, did he say Welcome?...we are saying thank you for all these things and you make us say welcome did he say welcome?!" It was so sweet and a little difficult to explain! Its those moments that make me not worry about Haley's future. That's a pretty complex thought and that is something we can't teach her is to do is think things through!

Brock starts school today too but he is like his momma sleep is important to him so he slept like a log! I know that he will do great but my prayer for him is the same is her, i hope he makes lots of new friends and has a great first day experience!
