Lots of new stuff!
Haley and Lance went to the Father/Daughter banquet last weekend and had lots of fun!
Ty is at the age of frustration where he knows what he wants and tries to tell you and gets really mad when you don't understand, but only one of the words in his string was an actual word!! UGH! This stage is my least favorite all three times around! He is definitely our loudest child and so the whole neighborhood will probably rejoice with us when he becomes our sweet, obedient child again!
Haley had a field trip last week, she went to the fire station, police station, and tumbling tide it was lots of fun!
Brock is full of questions these days so I thought I would share with you...
He came in the other morning and told me his throat hurt. I told him to go get me a flashlight so I could look at it and it looked fine, but I asked if he thought he needed something for it....he was exasperated with me and grabbed the flashlight and said, just let me go look. So a few minutes later he came back completely pale and with a funny expression and asked, "Mommy, why do I have a d*ng d*ng (*'s so it can't be googled) in my throat?!" I was trying so hard not to laugh and explained it was not that and what it was for but there was no convincing him! Now every time he comes by the mirror in the kitchen he stops, looks, and exclaims "Yep, the d*ng d*ng is still there!"
The other night Haley was asking lots of questions about Jesus and getting saved, and being baptized and Brock was taking it all in. Her question at the time was who will baptize me Mr Ben or Pop and we were telling her we would just see at the time and all of a sudden, as if he had been dying to ask the whole time, Brock comes out with, "Yeah, just exactly who is Mr Ben's preacher??" Like he wanted to check his references or something!
We are LOVING this warm weather! The kids would live outside if we would let them I think! Ty has no idea he isn't big enough for all the riding toys and is a master at pushing the gas but not so good at steering! The kids are getting good at getting out of his way and I am learning to only wear running shoes outside to keep him from killing himself!
