Shark Tooth Creek!!
Last week I went with Haley's class to Shark Tooth Creek and we had so much fun! It is easily the best field trip I have been with her on yet! Leaha let us borrow her and Abby's rain boots and it had gone down to 46 degrees the night before so we couldn't have made it in that freezing water without them! Haley spent most of her creek time in the water "letting her mermaids swim" (there were mermaids on her shoes!) and most of the shark teeth are to be found at water's edge in the pebbles but she had fun and that's what mattered! Some of the kids found some really impressive ones! To get to and from the creek you ride in a cattle trailer... with benches on either side...and Mr Ken makes sure the ride is just as much of a memory for the kids as the rest of the day "fast and bumpy" just how they like it!! After the creek we ate a picnic lunch then went up to the awesome playground and played. This playground had everything a zip line equiped with a chair to buckle them in, trampoline, adult swings, kid swings, fireman pole, barrel horse, slides, and even a baby swing! It was so much fun! I can't wait to take the boys!
