Ty is 3!!  I can't believe he is already three!  He had so much fun at his  Tumblebus party at the house Sunday and I will try to post pictures soon.  He went for his check up Monday and he is 39lbs and 38 1/4 inches tall.  The new thing our doctor has started is giving you a 4-5 page book of questions to ask your child or just answer if you know they can do it to see where they are developmentally.  Well one of the questions shows a stick man with one leg and foot on the right side and a arm and hand on the left side then a head with a hat on. It tells you to ask the child what its a picture of with no prompts and write their answer in the block below the picture.  So I asked him and after glancing away from his movie to look at it he looked at me and in all seriousness said, "a hopping man."  The nurse was in the room and she turned to see the picture then busted out laughing, so i wrote his response and the doctor came in a few minutes later and asked him if he had seen her hopping man.  She said they usually just get a snowman or daddy or something like that.  He got his finger pricked for a routine CBC and when the nurse left the room he said, "mommy when we get to the car i am going to cry b/c that hurt okay?"  Of course he forgot by the time we left.  He didn't have to get any shots so that was a relief!  Overall great checkup!!
