Decisions, Decisions...

It has been a CRAZY fall around here so far!  Brock is LOVING kindergarten and we are really glad we sent him on.  He is making lots of friends and we went on his first field trip a few weeks ago to The Great Pumpkin Patch.
Ty has finally accepted that he is home with me, not in school, but still gets to hang out with one of the kindergarten classes some when we are up there on Thursday mornings.  (He really loves that!)
Haley is having a rough year.  She loves school and her friends but this year has not been smooth AT ALL.  After NUMEROUS hours praying, crying and pacing the floor we have decided that the biggest problem is we have VERY different expectations of Haley than the school does.  We are going to homeschool her.  This has not been an easy decision at all but once we made it, we have had the most incredible peace about it and it has all fallen right in place.  We LOVE the school she was going to and still plan to send the boys there.  It just isn't where she can reach her full potential and we are so blessed to have the support of our families as we move forward on this new adventure!  I have started ordering her books and will finish that order today.  I am so excited!  She is going to get to do lots of things she didn't get to do in school and I think she will be a whole lot less stressed out. At Brownies last Thursday night they were doing an about me star where they answered questions about themselves.  It had several fill in the blank sentences and her answers warmed my heart!
It said:
In school, I think it is important to learn.
When my friends have a problem, I fix it.
At home, I take care of my brothers.
I make my family happy when I get on green.
I am really good at reading.
I really like to learn.
I take good care of myself by cleaning.
I never quit.

That last one says it all!  To Lance and I, the unspoken of it was, so don't quit on me.
Please pray for us as we start this new stage of life.  We just want all of our children to reach their full potential, whatever way we can help them to do that we will.   This next few weeks is going to be a huge transition for all of us as we prepare to start and then make the swap.  I am going to try to speak with her principal Monday and we are shooting for November 10th to be her last day.  It has been so amazing as God has worked with us through this so far and we are seeking his will as we move forward.  I wanted to go ahead and post this so we would have your prayers.  Thanks so much!
