Okay so if you have seen me or talked to me in the last week and I seemed CRAZY....Yes I was, am, still will be....for a few more days! I am SO excited about homeschooling Haley we are all registered at our umbrella school, except for the records that will be sent after Wednesday. I met with her principal this past Wednesday and it will all be official in a few days. All the books are here and I finished painting the room this afternoon (she picked purple for her new classroom). Now as soon as some of the fumes clear out we will get all the new stuff moved in there and I will be able to see the top of the kitchen table again! :-)
As if we didn't have enough going on, we got a new puppy last Sunday afternoon. It was very spur of the moment, some good friends of ours had five for the kids to choose from and they were just so precious you just couldn't leave without one! She is super cute the kids named her Cocoa. She is a feist and she is tiny! She is adjusting to our chaos very well and the kids just can't get enough of her! Hopefully by next year she will be willing and able to squirrel hunt with Brock (that's what he is banking on anyway) and Haley just loves to walk around holding her....and push her in the baby stroller! Our momma cat doesn't know what to think of her and the kitten (which looks enormous next to her) thinks she is the best thing ever. They are so cute playing together!
The grandparents have been so wonderful to help with the kids as we get through this transition. Ty thinks he should only stay a night or two here now and then leave me again! He isn't sure what all is going on but he stacked his coloring book and crayons on my growing book stack on the table today and told me it was for his school. I assured him he would be needing them as he will be doing school too...since none of the mother's day out programs that I trust have an opening for him three mornings a week. All the structure will be really good for him but I am imagining it is gonna rock his world in a very loud way....if you know Ty you know what I mean.
Brock had basketball tryouts for Upward Thursday night and we are really excited for him to start that. He has talked about basketball for years so he is beside himself that he is finally going to get to play. He did really well at all the stations and the smile on his face was priceless as he made baskets and dribbled around the cones! It doesn't start until January but I have a feeling once he gets the uniform we are gonna have trouble getting him to wear anything else!
Well we have another very busy week coming up so I will update soon and try to add pictures the next time!
