Moving right along...

So we kind of start homeschooling tomorrow but full fledge start Monday!  I have my last bible study in the morning so since we have to go there first thing we will wait until Monday to officially start but we can get used to the room and start on some of the information tomorrow.  Haley is really excited and so am I!  Her last day was very emotional yesterday.   I went about 2 to start the process (the bell rings at 2:35) and finished the paperwork for the office first then went to return the manipulative's different teachers had let us use this year.  I went to her room and her teacher gathered her supplies and the children had all made her cards and they lined up and hugged her one by one, with her three best friends repeatedly going to the end of the line to hug her over and over.  The kids made me promise to bring her back to eat lunch with them some and of course she was crying and the other children were crying and her teacher was crying and I was just a mess.  We then went to get all the information we would need for her new school and her special needs teacher had her a present and we ran into her first grade teacher.  She had me follow her to her room and she had pulled out some extra supplies (posters, calendars, flash cards, manipulatives, etc.) and sent that with us then wanted me to follow her to one of the kindergarten teachers rooms.  There they had a goodie bag for us full of fun stuff and educational stuff and a big "Go Team Stripling" sign on the front of it.  It was also signed by my running partners and several of the teachers at the school and two special friends from church who contributed and pledged to pray for us as we start on this new journey.  I cannot tell you how touched I was by this outpouring of support for us!!  I will try to post pictures of our classroom soon!  It is starting to look very much like a girlie classroom in our purple room!!
