Ty...
If you have been around Ty for five minutes you already love him. He is ALL boy and our 100% child. He is either 100% Angel or 100%...well you know. So here are some of his latest non-angel moments...
While staying with Granna and Pop he went to take a nap. Granna thought he was asleep and after about an hour and a half he came into the den looking refreshed and happy. She had gotten some new tennis shoes and when she went to the bedroom to get them the shoebox was empty...she asked him if he knew where they were and he went to her bed to get them out from under the sheets...when she pulled back the sheets there was also several pairs of Pop's shoes, some clothes that had been on the floor and a bar of soap! When I asked him about it he said, "I was trying on Pop's shoes but they not fit." I then asked why he didn't put them back to which her quickly replied, "I didn't want to get down again!"
The other day he was playing in the backyard and I was doing some stuff in the kitchen. I leaned out the door to see if I saw him and didn't so I called his name...he didn't answer so I stepped off the porch and called him again...this time I heard a very soft, "mam" from the white building (this is his way of doing what he is supposed to but not the way you want him to....don't get me started on those kind of stories) so I went over to see what he was up to and he was completely undressed on one leg and the other was still clothed shoe and all and Poop was EVERYWHERE! So I figured he had an accident (which isn't common with him but these things can happen) I went over to help him and asked about it and he said, "I didn't have an accident, I pooped over there..." I will spare you the gory details but he had pooped right out on the driveway! UGH! I got him inside and showered and sent him to go get dressed. He came back to the den dressed and wanted me to open a cheesestick for him. When I took it, it was warm...I asked where he got it and he said, "I keep them in my room now so Brock and Haley won't get them." We have since found an almost unrecognizable hamburger patty (still in the ziploc thank goodness) back there too! Apparently he is concerned we won't feed him! ;0)
While Haley and I were doing school the other morning I came in to check on him and noticed water all over the kitchen floor near the table. When I came in the den he was sitting in Lance's recliner in a whole new outfit. I asked where the water came from and he said, "Those things don't pick up water very good..." and pointed to some pot holders on the kitchen floor... He had tried to pour himself a coke and used a 2 liter and a 6 ounce cup...needless to say it didn't all fit so when it spilled he found the Pot holders to dry up the mess but since they didn't work so well he then took them to the front bathroom and rinsed them in the sink and walked back into the den with the dripping pot holders to keep trying...apparently numerous times because the carpet was soaked too!
As I sit here and type he has walked up twice with flowers from the yard for me. He is such a sweet boy he just keeps me on my toes!
