Summer is here...FINALLY!!!

 

These are from our last Teeball practice...Brock practicing at first base.  He has really improved with his hitting and fielding the ball this year and has a great team!  His coaches are really good too!  We have seen some grown men really make fools out of themselves at the park this year and I am so glad that the group of daddies coaching our team are very encouraging to the boys!  Don't get me wrong, they want them to do their best and win but they remember that they are five!

Throwing it back in

This is Ty's ballpark best friend James.  They are almost exactly the same age and play so well together.  Ty gets so excited about going to see James at practices and games.  

Brock got two game balls this year, April 22 and May 21.

We got the waterslide out for the first time last Sunday afternoon.  Sawyer was in town and came to play for the afternoon so we thought all the kids would have fun playing in the water together.  I LOVE waterslide and pool pictures because our kids have such a blast that I always get pictures of their real smiles!

Sawyer didn't like it too much. The beginning of summer is a little tricky with this kind of stuff because its been so long since they have been in the water that they have to readjust to it being in their eyes and ears and stuff.  He thought it was all fun until it splashed in his eyes at the bottom of the slide...and then he was done.

Everyone "swimming"...Ty has swimming lessons in a few weeks and I am so excited because then we don't have to haul life jackets to the pool anymore and he already thinks he can swim without it so after a week with Coach Anne he will truly be able to!

Lance's "kill face"  he had to make it fun for daddy too so our boys just became targets of the water gun!  They always love it once Dad gets involved!

I love this picture of Ty it just makes me smile!  When he gets really tickled at something he throws his head back and goes into this screaming "ah ha ha ha" laugh that is just priceless!  This is the beginning of it!

Ty and his huge imagination then decided that he needed his net so he could catch all the fish in the pool at the bottom of the slide.

Since Sawyer was over the waterslide Lance taught him how to catch Jacks and they went on a hunt for other creepy crawlies in the yard.

Cocoa is Haley's best friend in this world.  That child loves this dog more than anyone has ever loved a dog!  Every little while all day long she will say, "mom I am going to go play with cocoa" and she heads outside for 30 minutes or so.  When it storms she sits on the step leading out to the garage and holds her because Cocoa is scared of thunder.
