Here we go...

We have had a very busy August so far!  Brock started First grade he is in Ms Thomas' class and he is loving it.  We are all starting to get used to the new schedule and our big news is Brock is now a bus rider!!!  He begged to ride and loves it.  I am loving having the extra hour and forty five minutes every day that I am not in carpool and his bus driver is really sweet!  

Haley started Third grade and seems to be loving it!  We are doing the Abeka curriculum this year and we both really like it so far.  She LOVES U.S. History and that really shocks me.  The reading program is really, really good and we are both enjoying it.

I just love his red hair and freckles!  That smile melts me!  

I tried to get them to just put an arm around each other and this was the result...

So we did one to be able to tell how much they are growing.  Haley saw her endocrinologist this week and she is at the 8th percentile for height!!  That is a really big deal because by age three she had dropped below the fifth then below the chart so if she stays steady on this curve she will be around five foot one.  This was VERY exciting news!!  Probably around 5 more years of shots though....

Of course we needed a picture of the bubba's together and I do not know what Ty's deal is with striking this pose but it is his thing.  Every time he does it it makes me think of Brad and the way he poses for pictures.  ;-) 

Speaking of Brad he graduated from the University of Alabama the beginning of the month as a Chemical engineer.  He is going to start dental school next summer.  We are so proud of him!

Uncle DJ graduated in May and plans to walk in December.  All the confusion going on in April with the storm kind of messed up both of them walking in May.  DJ graduated with a degree in business and we are so proud of how hard he has worked!  He is looking to ready to enter the work force.  

I cannot believe how grown up the uncles are and my kids too!  It has happened too fast!!
