What a fun week!!

Ya-Ya and I took the kids to Lake Lanier Islands Monday to see the six miles of lights and the 'real' Santa at the North pole. We had SO MUCH FUN!!! It was so nice to get away for a little while and the kids LOVE looking at Christmas lights so they really got a kick out of it!! Haley was so excited to see Santa and he remembered her!!! (This shocked me because we normally see him at Christmas Village in Birmingham not in Georgia!) He came outside when we walked out and talked to Brock until he warmed up to him and would give him five!! I was so amazed by the whole experience!! I was completely shocked that he got up and came outside and that he remembered Haley is something we won't forget for a very long time!! Tuesday on the way back we went shopping at Lennox Square and played at the Children's museum in Atlanta. The kids really enjoyed the museum. They got to play in the stream and play instruments and crawl through tunnels and work the front end loader and sit in the front of the delivery truck...they had a blast and it helped to wear them out before we got back on the road!!

Haley is still enjoying George being around...he gets into something almost every night but usually leaves something small for her like a book or santa sugar cookies, etc. She gets so excited when he has made a mess!...

Tonight we celebrated Christmas with the Striplings it was so much fun!! Crystal had everyone over to her house and we had lots of great food and laughs and fun! There was even a surprise visit from Santa!! Haley loved that. Brock and Shelby weren't so sure about him... It's always fun to get together with family, that is what this time of year is all about. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas so far!!
