2 Weeks and counting...

Two weeks from today I am running in my first half marathon.  I am so excited!  We do our long runs on Sunday mornings so only one more long run before the real thing!  The kids are excited about staying in the hotel and swimming!  Haley is the only one that has asked if they can be there when I cross the finish line.  We run really slow but I just want to be able to say I did it!

Haley and the little boy at school are staying away from each other, they just absolutely push each others buttons.  He really annoys her and vice/versa.  She isn't the only one butting heads with him.  As long as the hitting and name calling have stopped they can just stay separated...if it starts back....hopefully it won't!

Brock is learning to read and so excited about it!  He is doing so great in Kindergarten!  He is making lots of new friends and comes home exhausted.  He has his first field trip the first of October and he is so excited about getting to ride the bus.

Ty is adjusting to the big kids being gone.  He still wants to get out with them every morning but doesn't cry anymore about having to stay home.  He still gets to hang out with Mrs Fanning's class some on Thursday mornings while I make copies for some of the teachers and he LOVES doing that!  The biggest problem with Ty for now is getting him to keep his shoes on....he thinks you should go EVERYWHERE barefooted!  UGH!
