Jake

This is our newest addition, Jake.  He is a mix part lab, part mastiff, part???  We are hoping he gets big.  He is so sweet.  This is the night we got him, he was 4 weeks old and could walk under Cocoa.  She loves him and they play really well together. 

Can you tell they love him?!

They were all a little shocked how big he was because Cocoa would fit in the palm of your hand when we got her so they think he is almost grown.

Brock was a little nervous with him at first.  He liked him and was really excited we got a boy this time.  He is very comfortable with him now.  Part of the reason we got Cocoa was that Brock had started getting very nervous around dogs.  She seemed to help him with that a lot.  I don't want my kids to be scared of dogs especially the boys.  Haley isn't scared of any animal, she loves them all.  Haley loves to be outside and completely takes care of the dogs and cat.  She puts them up at night and lets them out and feeds them in the morning without being asked.  We are very proud of her for being so responsible.

Jake took right to Ty just like the kittens used to.  He played with the other kids but as soon as he crawled up in Ty's lap he went right to sleep.
